Jeanne V. Dake, FEI Dressage Instructor
Jeanne has trained horses and riders in classical dressage from beginners through Grand Prix. She began her career after college by developing a counseling program for Meredith Manor, the first accredited equestrian college in the United States. While counseling, she taught dressage and trained with Col. Ljungquist, the Olympic dressage coach during the time. After returning to work on her Masters in Education, Jeanne’s passion called her back to the dressage arena. Here, she combined her love of training dressage horses with her Masters degree to teach dedicated riders classical techniques. Jeanne enjoys working with her students to set up a program that fits their learning style while adhering to the principals of the dressage training tree and strives to keep horses happy in their work.
Jeanne was classically trained in the United States and Europe and has earned her USDF Gold medal, as well as numerous awards including Trainer of the Year 2009. Jeanne was greatly influenced by her trainers who include Col. Ljungquist, Col. Von Ziegner, Bodo Hagen, Christilot Boylen, and Karl Mikolka.
